Admissions

Our admissions process is an uncomplicated process designed to help ease you and the student into the Wilshire Private School Family. Parents and their children are most welcome to stop by in our main office for information and for a personal tour of our facilities. If you are interested in joining Wilshire Private School, you will receive a comprehensive easy-to-complete application form. The student will be scheduled for a face-to-face meeting with the Head of School for an interview and some basic testing. Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

Tuition may be paid monthly, semi-annually, or annually. The Board of Trustees adjusts tuition levels each year. Partial scholarships are available on the basis of need and must be reviewed annually. Criteria for aid include school resources, which may change year-to-year, as well as considerations of income and expense. Applications for aid must be made yearly. Inquiries are held in strictest confidence and may be directed to the Head of School. Please contact front office for Tuition Assistance Application Form. This form should be filled out in its entirety and submitted with all required financial information. The Head of School will meet with the applicant to finalize the tuition, if approved.

Tuition and Fee Schedule for the 2009-2010 Academic Year

Required Fees (nonrefundable)

Registration:	$150 (yearly fee, non-refundable to reserve student's space)
Tuition:
Kindergarten:	$6,500/year
1st-6th Grade:	$7,500/year
* ESL/ELL Fee, if needed: $300 per month
* I-20 Fee if needed for international students: $650
Book Fee :	$275/year
Activities :	$120/year
PTA :	$55/year
New Student Registration:	$150/year
Testing/Assessment Fee:	$100 one time fee for new students

Tuition Payment Options:

Option 1: Full payment in advance / Pay net amount

Option 2: Two installment payments

First payment: 1/2 of the tuition plus $110 processing fee by August 3, 2009
Second payment: 1/2 of the tuition by January 5, 2010

Option 3 : Ten installment payments

First payment : 1/10 of the tuition plus $220 processing fee by August 3, 2009
2nd-10th payment : 1/10 of the tuition by first business day of each month, September through May.

Optional Fees:

Daycare :	$165/month
Lunch :	$4.75/day.
Homework Class:	$180/month

*Early withdrawal from enrollment does not release responsibility of yearly tuition payments except in cases of illness, death, or related emergency event
