Parent Involvement

When a parent spends a little time at WPS, a sense of school-wide family becomes apparent. Parents support each other, classes, and the school as a whole! We welcome parent participation at many levels in our school. Helping out in the classroom, being a room parent, chaperoning field trips, joining us at school events and volunteering for schoolwide events are all ways that families can show their support for our unique learning community. Parents are encouraged to participate in our Parent/Teacher Association(PTA). The PTA can be a powerful tool to help the school grow and prosper. Because tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a a child, we rely on families to help raise additional operating funds.
